
Needless to say, i wasted no time in setting up an appointment to get them mounted on the Continental CPC2 tyres (205/55/R15) that were already set aside at Stamford Tyres in Lok Yang. Luckily the rims were at the Pandan branch of Cycle & Carriage, so it was only a short hop, skip and jump to Stamford Tyres.

After it was mounted, we decided to fit the steering wheel as well and get it properly aligned:

With the new rims, the car feels lighter than when it was on the replicas. If what i've been reading is accurate, these old-style rims are actually forged - OE Fuchs - which makes their price a real bargain. The steering wheel is great too, offering grip and decently sporty aesthetics.

All it needs is a cleaning now and some interior grooming:
