What's next? Hmmmm...

Photobucket

Well, now that the S2000 has been technically sold, here's an introductory pix of my 'new' car... one that will hopefully go as long a distance with me as it has with her previous owners!

Time to Part Ways with the Honda S2000

Well the time has come to part ways with my car after a glorious happy-revving 2.5 years.

Judging by Honda's current rhetoric, it's seems unlikely that cars such as the NSX and S2000 will continue to exist in Honda's future model line-up. Moreover, production has already stopped for the car so it has 'officially' achieved Classic status! :)

here are some quick details for those of you in Singapore who might be interested in Honda's 9000rpm red-line FR (that's Front-engine, Rear wheel-drive) roadster.

Kah Motor model with the 2L engine (F20C) that redlines at 9000rpm (PI 2.2L only goes to 8300rpm)
Rear Wheel Drive, 6-speed Manual Transmission with LSD (limited slip differential) and VSC (vehicle stability control)

S2000 has recently stopped production and higher rpm redline is normally more appreciated by honda enthusiasts.

For Reference: Modulo is Honda's in-house accessories division.
Engine has never been opened
body is in perfect shape
original owner from new.
Car has never been tracked or been to malaysia.

Custom Knob Jobs

well, i'm sure most of us M/T monkeys (that's Manual Transmission) would have encountered this 'problem' at some point in the course of our car ownership.

We're sick of the factory shifter and are desperately searching for that 'perfect' knob to suit our styles.

You've been through the gear catalogues of countless online merchants, only to discover that there's always that ONE thing that results in a FAIL.

Well, a friend just pointed me to this site:

http://store.lathewerks.com/

Apart from the rather eclectic range of gear-knobs he has on offer, a buyer in search of his holy grail can even customise the knob to his heart's content!

Shape, size, material, dimensions, finishing and even weighting can be specified to suit your personal preferences.

A custom knob for a JDM STI is currently a WIP; will post up more photos when it arrives.
